Getting started

Connect to Orion, find a place to settle and learn the commands most players use first.

Joining Orion

Java players can connect with conquerearthmc.com. Bedrock players use the same address with port 19132. Choose Orion after entering the hub.

Console players usually need a LAN connector app because most consoles do not show the Add Server button. The full setup is on the join page.

First steps

  1. Use /wild to leave the populated area.
  2. Save your location with /sethome base.
  3. Check your money with /balance.
  4. Use /town list to find a town, or create one with /town new <name>.
  5. Open /helpmenu if you get stuck.

Use /map to get the world map link. Check nearby claims before choosing a base.

New-player protection

New players have PvP protection for 7 days. Protected players appear smaller and slowly grow to normal size as the timer runs out.

/invulnerabilityoff ends the protection early. This cannot be undone.

Chat and private messages

/msg <player> <message>

Send a private message.

/r <message>

Reply to the last private message.

/tc [message]

Use town chat.

/nc [message]

Use nation chat.

/ac [message]

Use alliance chat.

/ignore <player>

Hide messages from a player. Run it again to undo it.

Voice chat

Orion supports Simple Voice Chat. Normal speech reaches 48 blocks and whispers reach 24 blocks. Voice groups are available.

You need the Simple Voice Chat mod to speak and hear other players. The server uses voice port 25565.
