SiegeWar
Nations can besiege towns, fight during weekend battle sessions and claim a war chest after victory.
Starting a siege
Conquest, revolt, surrender and invasion are available. Capital invasion is off.
A nation starts a conquest siege by placing the siege banner beside an enemy town. The attacking nation pays the war chest from its bank.
War chest
The war chest costs $350 for each plot in the defending town. If the attackers win, the money returns to the attacking nation. If the defenders win, they receive it.
Battle sessions
Battle sessions run every 3 hours on Saturday and Sunday, starting at 00:00 server time. Each session lasts 90 minutes. Sessions are cancelled when there are no active sieges.
Banner-control attempts last 3 minutes. General chat, local chat and private messages are blocked during a battle session and for 10 minutes afterward. Town, nation and alliance chat still work.
Keep inventory is off during siege deaths.
Siege immunity
New towns cannot be sieged for 7 days. A town also receives 7 days of immunity after a siege ends.
A conquered town has 3 days of revolt immunity. A revolt can break normal siege immunity once that timer has ended.
Winning a siege
Attackers and defenders earn siege points during battle sessions. The side with the higher balance when the siege ends wins.
A winning attacker can choose the permitted post-siege action. Conquest, plunder and surrender rules depend on how the siege ended.
Plunder
Plunder is $200 per town plot. The defeated town pays the debt over 3 daily payments.
Peaceful towns
Mayors can use /town toggle peaceful. Peaceful status takes 3 days to activate or remove. A town founded less than a week ago changes immediately.
Peaceful towns cannot be sieged, cannot move their homeblock and cannot give residents military nation ranks. Nation capitals cannot be peaceful.
Peaceful status costs $1,000 per day.
